Viggo was born in Sandefjord, Norway on 28 January 2008. He was bred by Tron Mikkelsen & Solvi Brudeseth from the first litter of their beautiful girl "Dee-Dee". The opportunity to get a puppy from this litter came about thanks to Astrid Hennum, the owner / breeder of Viggo's sire 'Odin'. I asked Astrid to let me know if a particularly beautiful bitch was bred to Odin, to act as a liaison with the breeder to help me secure a puppy! Astrid was full of praise for beautiful Dee-Dee and her lovely owners and said this was the litter I should aim for!

Viggo arrived in May 2008 at 16 weeks old and trotted happily into the house as if he'd been with us forever! Since his arrival he has been the most confident and secure Berner - much like Turi in his excitement at meeting any new person! He loves showing but is very easily distracted by things going on around him! He is the eternal puppy!

Viggs  has a beautiful head and expression with beautiful dark eyes, a heavy coat, light and fluid movement and a superb character! He loves to have a cuddle but not when any other boys are watching!!

As a stud dog, Viggo is very calm and confident and works fast! He sired 3 litters in 2009 and has another due in January 2010. He will not be available at stud in 2010.
